There are two main ways by which we make our deliveries to our UK customers:

 

1.  By using a pallet service. This is for all our products sold by the pallet load which includes shavings, small bale haylage and small bale wrapped hay.  This system usually takes 4-5 working days to be delivered.

Most products can be delivered on a 7.5 tonne lorry that has a tail-lift. The product is then lowered off the lorry down onto hardstanding surface.

Please be aware that if you are storing the pallets outside then we recommend that you invest in a top sheet or tarpaulin to go over the top and sides of the pallet to make sure the product is protected and kept dry.

We strongly advise that you are present when the delivery is made. This is so that you can make sure that you are happy with the goods and you can check there has been no visible damage to the load being left.

2. On larger loads we generally deliver on an artic lorry, unless we have spoken to you regarding access and you need a 7.5 tonne lorry.

On large bales of hay, haylage and straw, if you do not have the necessary equipment to take the bales off the lorry then we can occasionally, depending on your location, arrange for someone with a forklift or Grabber to unload the bales and stack them where they need to go. This will all be discussed at the time you place your order to make sure that your delivery runs as smoothly as possible.

During the summer (hay making season) we offer a discount for customers wanting to take hay, haylage and Straw directly from the field.   If you do take an order directly from the field and you are near  to the land, we will occasionally deliver using a tractor and trailer.

We are used to adapting our service to cover all eventualities, we are very flexible and will do our very best to meet your requirements.
